The Paper Drawer is more than just a shop for me – it's a haven for creativity, a sanctuary for those who find solace in the beauty of paper, pens, and all things stationery. 

I may have pulled back from social media posting, but I did continue to engage and fill my cup with the makers, creators, and small business owners hustling. I had the opportunity to travel more and see the world. Reigniting the vagabond in me, I took in all the sights, smells, colors, sounds, and, most of all, the people. Early morning was my favorite time when cities were quiet (and usually on day two of a trip when jet lag would mess with me). 

I love (and I do mean LOVE) getting orders. I love seeing where the people are. I love seeing what you found that inspired you. I love wrapping the items, adding a handwritten note, and packaging it to send. I love that someone receives a package from The Paper Drawer and opens it up like a gift. I love that analog lives on, and nothing beats a handwritten note. 

To usher in the new year, I am celebrating with sparklers and a sense of wonder. Let the sparks of creativity, gratitude, and anticipation light up the night as we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. Cheers to new beginnings and the magic within the pages of a fresh, unwritten year!
